Version 2.0.18 and Version 2.0.19 Patch Changelogs

Version 2.0.19
- Added Rainbow Rampage
* Unicorn Rampage was the Community Alt Avatar Contest Winner. We have heard your suggestions and have made an alternate version of the alternate avatar: enter Rainbow Rampage. With more color and more effects, we hope this is what the community was looking for.
* All players who purchased Unicorn Rampage will have Rainbow Rampage added to their account
* Moving forward, you will be able to purchase either Unicorn Rampage or Rainbow Rampage from the Goblin Store

- Added Heart Japan Account Icon
* With 10% of the revenue from the double coin promotion going to the Red Cross for Japan Earthquake Relief Efforts, we have added the Heart Japan account icon to the Store for people to be able to show their support
* This item is a Premium item that only costs 25 gold coins and is intended to show your thoughts are with those in Japan
* The S2 Staff sends its thoughts and prayers to those affected by this disaster and thanks the HoN community for their overwhelming support for the people of Japan.

Version 2.0.18
- Reverted creep stacking mechanism to allow for 2 stacks (3 camps total)
* The change was mistakenly patched into the retail client. We are, however, considering such a change as part of a package of changes aimed at shifting the focus of play away from funneling all of a team's resources into one carry.

Version 2.0.17 - Unicorn Rampage

Version 2.0.17 Patch Change log

- New Alternate Avatar for Rampage: Unicorn Rampage!
* Community Alt Avatar Contest Winner, suggested by Kalium.

- Added a Channeling Bar for heroes with channeling abilities

- Ancient creeps now have 5.5 Magic Armor
* The Dragon Master is no longer Magic Immune, but has 10 Magic Armor

- Fixed shop item tooltips not showing bonuses from modifiers (e.g. Logger's Hatchet, Mystic Vestments)
- Changed the logic of neutral creeps to only use their abilities when there are a number of visible enemy player controlled units instead of just enemy units around them
* This means that they will not use their abilities on lane creeps

- Added order disjoint to creeps that Ophelia (and Whispering Helm) gains control of so they dont mess with other controlled units actions
- Fixed up some of the stringtables
- Fixed an issue that could cause creeps to skip towers very occasionally (when dragged away from the lane at strange angles)

- Can no longer be attacked from outside of his lair even with Savage Mace
- Fixed his lair to clean up the places you could attack him from outside

Deadwood Guide

A guide to improve your gameplay as:

Deadwood v2.0.6

This guide is intended for the casual 5v5 games on Forest of Caldavar and Normal Mode. Do not expect to follow these guidelines and be successful in any other conditions.
Deadwood is just another hardcore ganker, who's also able to initiate and deal decent auto-attack DPS. He is a hero that is best played solo in the middle lane, as he needs to gain levels as early as possible. Given the right circumstances, he has the ability to totally dominate the early- and mid game, and should thus capitalize on this as much as possible in order to be viable at the later stages of the game. He's is a hero that excels at quickly bringing down single targets, and catching the enemy off guard, even when they got good map control through wards by using the woods to his advantage. In the hands of a good player, he can be an extremely important asset to a team that's capable of causing unstoppable havoc on the opposing team's carry while your own carry farms your team's way to victory.

Behind the Scenes with Paula Garces

If you are interested in how the new Heroes of Newerth hero, Aluna, was created and how did Paula Garces get involved with S2 Games, this is your lucky day. S2 Games have released a behind the scenes video with the young actress, which shows her involvement in creating Aluna.

Devourer Guide - You're Mine!

This guide is specifically written for 5v5 Forest of Caldavar - Normal mode public games, and was last updated on 02-13-2011.

Devourer - You're Mine!

Strength: 25 + 3.2

Agility: 14 + 1.5
Intelligence: 14 + 1.5
Armor: 2.96
Movement Speed: 285
Range: Melee

I. Introduction

Devourer is one of my favorite utility heroes. He is a very powerful ganker that is capable of completely isolating players and killing them before their team has a moment to react. Devourer is often underestimated, as he is practically useless if not played correctly. Due to this, I have created this guide to aid players in improving their skills with what I believe to be one of the most powerful heroes in public play.

Early to mid game Devourer is a heavy ganker, but he grows to be a very powerful anti-carry with a bit of pushing power as the game progresses to late game.
